11:00 Rendezvous at the mouth of Machodoc Creek with a possible move to “S” for a ~12:00 start, if we have boats entered to race, from downriver.

 Courses:

A circumnavigation of the Dahlgren Racing area. All marks left to Port:

Machodoc Creek Junction Mark, Back Channel Nun “2”, yellow Nun “S”, yellow Nun “P”, Mo A “D”, Nun “32”, Main Channel Nun “6”, Machodoc Creek Junction Mark

Flag “R” will be a reverse of the above: all marks left to Starboard.

Variations of these courses may be used…

All boats must watch for a committee boat near the marks as the course may be shortened.  Monitor VHF channel 68 for race instructions.

Time limit:  All boats not finished by 16:30 EDT will be scored “DNF”

Time-On-Time PHRF – Low point scoring

5 minute sequence:  RRS 26 as modified by DYC PHRF Sailing Instructions

Awards at the annual Pasture Party.

 Eligibility: Open to all - Non DYC members must fill out a application form and sign the liability waiver

 Fee: NONE.  Check in with Committee before the starting sequence begins.

  “Bring your own” to DYC Clubhouse for informal post race debrief of lies, tall tales and camaraderie.
