NSWCDD Access Policy

Access Policy. The following access control security policy applies to all government civilians, active, reserves, guard, and non-active military members, contractors, foreign representatives, foreign nationals, visitors, guests or family members.
MWR Facilities:
(1) Access to MWR facilities (bowling alley, clubs (Powder Keg, Rumors & Catus Jacks), gym, movie theater, pool, ITT Office, ball fields) and special events is limited to those persons who are authorized to enter the installation, i.e. holders of CAC, military IDs, NSASP and tenant command badge and NSASP Guest Pass.
(2) Membership cards (gym, pool, golf club, softball league, etc) alone do not allow a person entrance to NSASP. The person must also have one of the above type badges or passes.
(3) Children under sixteen years of age must be supervised by an adult unless attending a sponsored program, i.e. YAC, pool, etc.
Guest Passes:
- A person assigned to the installation who holds a CAC, military ID, NSASP or tenant command badge may sponsor two persons (age 16 or older); military residents may sponsor up to four persons and Combine Bachelor Quarters residents may sponsor two people for a one year Guest Pass.
- Persons holding a Guest Pass are not authorized to sponsor anyone else for a Guest Pass nor may they escort any adult onto the installation. A Guest Pass holder may escort only youths onto the installation.
- The sponsor will submit a Guest Request form to the Force Protection/Physical Security Office. Contractors occupying office space on the installation will submit their request via their COR for certification that they occupy office space on the installation.
- The Force Protection/Physical Security Office will notify the sponsor of approval/disapproval and forward approved Guest Pass requests to Pass & ID where the person will be issued a Guest Pass for the designated time frame.
- The sponsor is responsible for the actions of the guest. If the guest does not abide by installation regulations, the guest pass will be confiscated and the sponsor may lose his/her privilege to sponsor anyone for a guest pass in the future.
- If you do not have a form you can email or contact any of the personnel listed below who will email the form to you. When you have completed the Guest Pass and are ready to have it processed at NSF Dahlgren you can: Take the Guest Pass form to Base Security, Fax the form to 540-284-1238, or Email to pass_id_dlgr.fct@navy.mil
