LAUNCH:

  1. Back vehicle up to whaler trailer, and hitch up, 2" ball.
  2. Install PLUG in stern, it is hanging on the stern.
  3. Open race locker get cushion, at least 2 life jackets, and radio and put on whaler.
  4. Get rig to launch ramp and unlock chain, see membership card.
  5. Back down ramp such that area below winch is dry.
  6. Remove winch cable from whaler, and fasten long bow line to dock cleat or have another person hold line.
  7. Back trailer into water and hit the brakes such that whaler is launched.
  8. Park trailer and pull winch cable 1/3 way out trailer
  9. Move whaler to floating dock
  10. Unlock onboard locker and get boat key out of orange box
  11. Pump gas bulb, advance fast idle, and using whaler key (push to choke), start engine PS anytime there is NO action via key, JIGGLE GEARSHIFT!@#$%I~&* ()
  12. Allow engine to warm, and then proceed with mission. There is a battery charger in the race locker.

HAUL OUT:

  1. When mission is over, reload whaler on trailer
  2. Pull from ramp and maneuver rig to hose area
  3. Using muff from locker, flush engine for one minute.
  4. Park rig in space and REMOVE stern plug
  5. Put key back in orange box and lock onboard locker
  6. Put safety gear back in race locker and lockup

REFUEL:

  1. Gasoline/oil mixture is 50-1, or about 3 oz/gal, 16 oz/6 gal. Use only TCW3 2 cycle oil, available at DMC.
