Dahlgren Yacht Club Racing Program - 2004 PHRF Series

PHRF Skipper's Meeting - Monday 4/5/2004 - DYC Dockhouse - To discuss the changes for the 2003 PHRF Racing Program including scoring methods, fleet splits, new Saturday series, changes to the race instructions, and to sign up for Race Officer Duty.

PHRF Series - (See the Dahlgren Yacht Club Performance Handicap Racing Fleet 2004 Racing Instructions (Note:  Changes from 2003 are in BLUE.)[MS Word 2000 (95KB)] , and sample Score Sheet[MS eXcel 97] for more information including course descriptions.)

• There are 4 separate Low Point Series:
  • Saturday - 5/15/2003 - 8/21/2003 (Series Cancelled due to Lack of Participation)
  • Spring - 4/19/2004 - 6/14/2004
  • Summer - 6/21/2004 - 8/16/2004
  • Fall - 8/23/2004 - 10/25/2004
• There is a single High Point Series that is concurrent with the Low Point series
• Each boat must have a valid PHRF of the Chesapeake Certificate
• Each boat must have signed liability waiver to be scored
• Race Officers Schedule - Each Registered Boat must perform Race Officer Duties according to a pre-determined schedule.

• Race Courses (Now includes Mark locations and lengths of each leg)
